Aviation technology is being pioneered at the Institute of Aeronautics & Engineering (IAE) in Bhopal. IAE is a renowned AME institution in India. It was founded in 2002 and was granted permission by the Government of India's Directorate General of Civil Aviation to provide Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Courses in Mechanical Categories B1.1, B1.2, B1.3, and Avionics Category B2. In compliance with the most recent rules, the DCGA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, and Government of India have additionally recognised IAE under CAR-147(Basic).

IAE's ISO 9001:2015 certification for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Courses is proof of its dedication to quality.
